Delivery was promised in 4 days, but we received it in just 2 days. We’re thrilled, thank you! We just made pomegranate juice—it’s amazing and so creamy smooth! We’re sincerely grateful to Amazon for making our lives easy, pure, and simple. May God bless you and your loved ones. Merry Christmas to all, much love, Mimi.
** We bought our Vitamix 20 years ago and it’s still going strong. We got this new one to juice pomegranates and grind nuts and seeds.

This blender is extremely noisy, and the worst issue is that the lid doesn’t fit properly. I should have returned it right away, but it took over a month to arrive. I wanted the red one and purchased it during a sale, but by the time it arrived, the sale was over, and I needed it for our large family gathering at Christmas. I ended up having to hold the lid down manually while using it. I was informed that the delay was due to a lack of stock in my area for the red color, which was a poor decision on my part. While it is powerful, it struggles with smoothies because it accelerates to higher speeds too quickly, creating an air bubble that prevents proper blending. This frustrating little plastic contraption is messy and ineffective for smoothies. The ill-fitting lid means I constantly have to stop the blender, remove the lid, and stir the mixture with a spoon. I spent a lot of money on this “pretty red” blender, only to be left annoyed. It is indeed attractive!

The ultimate choice if you’re looking for a versatile blender and more. Nothing compares, especially not a Ninja. Invest in this product for the best value if you want a blender and additional features.

I first heard about Vitamix nearly ten years ago from a coworker who bought one for his wife for Christmas. After doing some research, I realized it was far beyond my budget. Fast forward many years, and having become more health-conscious, I started making smoothies with a NutriBullet. While it’s compact, it struggled with frozen fruit and ice, often causing ingredients to get stuck and the motor to strain.
I even tried a Breville blender, which cost around $200, but it didn’t perform much better. Eventually, I decided to take the plunge and buy a Vitamix after seeing it on sale. I was finally able to afford it, and I was eager to see what all the fuss was about.
One of the features I really appreciate is the presets for different blending types, complete with variable speed cycles and a timer. It’s important to layer the ingredients correctly for optimal blending. The program starts off slow to mix liquids and greens. Once the greens liquefy, the other ingredients sink down to the blade. When it hits the frozen items, the motor revs up and slices through everything effortlessly. You can really feel the power of the motor; lightweight items on the counter can get knocked around. Even chia seeds get completely pulverized.
Overall, this blender is the perfect kitchen appliance—engineering at its best. I’ve wondered why the pitcher is so tall and narrow, which can make it tricky to store under kitchen cabinets. But the design actually helps the ingredients make better contact with the blade. I also love how the plastic pitcher dries quickly. The lid, which has a dome shape, rinses off easily as well. I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase!
One important note: always peel your produce. I got lazy once and left the apple skin on, and the Vitamix struggled, requiring me to run the smoothie program twice. I worry it might damage the blender, so I’m careful with it given the price tag. I also noticed that the blender’s feet left gray smudges on my white countertop, so I’ve started using a mat underneath to protect it.

This is my third machine in 20 years. My first one was damaged during a move, and I gave my second one to my son, but his ex-wife took it. This third one may be a bit of a splurge, but it’s absolutely worth it.

I am extremely disappointed with this purchase, especially coming from the U.S. after traveling over 4,000 air miles. I’ve wanted one of these for over a decade, so I was excited to try it out. However, upon unpacking, I discovered it has a U.S. plug. I’ve had to order an adapter and wait for it to arrive. While checking the adapter details, I noticed a warning that the voltage in other countries may differ from ours, leaving me uncertain if it will even work when it gets here. None of this was mentioned in the product description on Amazon. I regret buying it and advise others to think twice—it’s not worth the hassle.
Additionally, I just learned from Amazon that they only offer a 2-year warranty, while Vitamix provides a 7-year warranty, but I can’t register for that outside the U.S. After considerable time spent researching, I found that Vitamix can’t be contacted via email, which is frustrating. The adapter finally arrived, but the blender still doesn’t work. Further research revealed that the voltage in the U.S. is different from the U.K., so now I need a voltage converter. This appliance should not be advertised on a U.K. site! I’ve ordered a voltage converter, but it is unsuitable for such a high-powered appliance. I’ve been informed that the proper converter would cost between £200 to £300. SHAME ON AMAZON for selling me this blender! It’s incredibly disappointing and a complete waste of time and money!

I chose this version myself and I’m thrilled with all the new features since my first Vitamix. Plus, I can use my old pitchers with this much quieter model. It blends my smoothies to perfection!

The product arrived in perfect condition, exactly as shown on the website. However, the pulse button was non-functional, and during assembly, I discovered a severed wire, indicating it wasn’t tested before packaging. I reported this to Amazon, who connected me with Vitamix. The manufacturer promptly provided pre-paid postage for the return. I received the replacement quickly, and it works flawlessly now. While it was a minor inconvenience, the product is outstanding, and the support received was excellent.

I spent a long time contemplating this purchase. I really enjoy my Ninja, but I finally decided to go for the Vitamix, and I have to say it lives up to the “hype.” First off, it’s louder than the Ninja, but that doesn’t bother me as long as it performs well—and it certainly does. I consume a lot of smoothies, and I am thrilled with how smooth and well-blended they turn out. The size is perfect; it fits nicely under my counter. The best feature is the cleaning cycle. No more disassembling blades and washing every part—just rinse it out, fill it halfway with water, add a drop of dish soap, and in thirty seconds it’s done. Rinse it, let it dry, and that’s it. I’m glad I opted for the higher price with the preset functions; it’s so easy to set and forget. There was a strange burning smell initially, but the manual mentioned that it would dissipate, and it has. Although the price made me wince, I really believe it’s worth it.

Initially, I faced issues with air pockets and what seemed like thermal shutdowns. I referred to the manual and added soft ingredients like yogurt, banana, and avocado first, but it felt like only the lower part of the pitcher was blending. I tried various speeds and the smoothie setting, yet all I produced was noise. I reached out to Vitamix and was connected to a representative quickly. She advised me to add all the ingredients at once, use the smoothie setting, and when it started ramping up, to use the “tamper” to push the spinach and kale down. That did the trick! Following her instructions, I finally achieved the “vortex” in the pitcher and made a perfectly blended smoothie.
