After numerous tests, the heart rate readings are completely inaccurate and significantly differ from reality. For €400 a year, this is utterly unacceptable. It’s pure marketing and nothing more. Any other smartwatch performs better.

The product didn’t arrive on time due to a shipping delay from Amazon, so I bought it elsewhere. I can confidently say it’s a significant upgrade from the Oura Gen4 and Apple Watch Ultra. It’s comfortable to wear, the battery lasts over 12 days on a single charge, and the data provided through the excellent app makes it an invaluable tool. While the subscription cost is somewhat high, we don’t have to purchase the hardware like with other platforms, and the small upgrade fee for future releases is minimal.

This product caused a severe burn on my skin after using it daily as recommended by the manufacturer and under normal conditions.

I ordered my Whoop on May 08 and received it the very next day. The setup process was smooth, and I’ve been wearing it continuously since. I received my first Healthspan Update this morning and am looking forward to the weekly updates every Sunday. As a new Whoop user, I had no preconceived notions; I’m still using my Apple Watch 9 and 10 to send data to Whoop. I previously used Fitbit from 2012 to 2024 mainly for tracking steps and general health data, so for my needs, Whoop effectively replaces Fitbit, while the Apple Watch serves a different purpose altogether. I’m not satisfied with a replacement Whoop strap I purchased, but that will be covered in a separate review. Overall, I’m finding my Whoop 5.0 MG useful, and the data I’ve received so far is intriguing. I understand that I’ll get the full benefits after 90 wears, which I estimate won’t be until September 1, 2025 (Labor Day in the USA). I plan to provide more updates after that, unless I encounter any issues sooner.

Everything went smoothly. The product is indeed pricey, but right now, there seems to be nothing better available.

Absolutely love my Whoop! The 5.0 features the best advanced band technology, and the Whoop Support Team is incredibly helpful when updating to a new band.

At 42 and generally in good health, I often found myself overlooking stress, sleep quality, and diet. However, since I began using the Whoop, everything has changed. This device has truly transformed my approach to wellness.
From the very first day, I’ve become significantly more conscious of my overall health. It’s not merely about counting steps or calories; it offers profound insights into my stress levels, sleep quality, recovery, and strain. I’ve started to notice aspects of my health that I previously overlooked, and this newfound awareness has led to substantial improvements in my daily habits.
Thanks to Whoop, I’m now more consistent with my workouts and making wiser choices regarding nutrition and recovery. I’ve experimented with various smartwatches and health apps over the years, but none have had such a profound impact on my life. Whoop distinguishes itself by focusing on optimizing health rather than just tracking activity, and it outperforms anything else I’ve tried.
I highly recommend it to anyone eager to elevate their physical and mental wellness!

My Whoop has completely transformed my health, performance, and overall lifestyle. As a trainer who works late nights at a bar, I often face the challenge of juggling erratic hours. Since I started using Whoop nearly a year ago, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in how I manage my sleep and recovery. I was thrilled about this new band and it has not let me down. The insights and tools it offers are remarkable, and the 14-day battery life makes this upgrade absolutely worthwhile.
Understanding when to push myself and when to focus on rest has been crucial for me. Unlike many wearables, I genuinely trust the data from Whoop—I’d say we’re aligned about 90% of the time. The daily strain and recovery metrics keep me focused on my goals, and the sleep tracking has greatly enhanced my rest quality and helped me recognize when I need to schedule a nap.
Whoop has enabled me to become a more intentional, optimized, and balanced version of myself. The level of accountability it provides is unparalleled, and the long-term trends have been essential for maintaining high performance without burning out!

As someone who expected a specialized and premium device for fitness enthusiasts, I was quite disappointed. I switched from an Apple Watch to give Whoop a try, and the experience was underwhelming.
When it comes to pairing with cardio equipment, most gyms now offer GymKit, allowing Apple Watch users to connect instantly with a simple tap. Unfortunately, Whoop lacks this feature, and I found that many times the cardio machines failed to recognize it as a heart monitor. Even when it did connect, it often dropped the connection after just a minute. To make matters worse, the accuracy of tracking stationary cardio activity was poor; for instance, while running on the treadmill, it reported three times the distance compared to what Whoop recorded.
Additionally, using the straps and their locking mechanism can be tricky at times. Sure, the battery life lasts two weeks, but at $35 a month indefinitely, I expected a much better product. Overall, I find it to be quite disappointing.

Considering a switch from WHOOP 4.0 to 5.0? Think again. The so-called “free upgrade” is a misleading trap. Once you attempt to manage your account, return, or update, WHOOP reveals its true nature: a company shrouded in confusion, hidden fees, and a failing support system.
Customer service is a never-ending cycle of generic responses, no solutions, and frustrating back-and-forths. You’ll spend countless hours, if not weeks, trying to resolve simple problems while they continue to charge you without pause.
If you’re new to WHOOP, steer clear. There are much better fitness trackers available—more affordable, straightforward, and with genuine customer support.
Already using 4.0? Don’t upgrade. In fact, think about letting your subscription lapse. Walking away from WHOOP could be the best decision you make. It will save you money, time, and the frustration of dealing with one of the most anti-consumer companies in the wellness industry.

Terrible product; the strap caused significant skin irritation. The app is confusing and offers no additional features compared to the Apple Watch, despite claims to the contrary. While the idea is promising, it doesn’t integrate well within the Apple ecosystem.

The app is highly informative.
