This product is in a league of its own; nothing else compares. While the ingredients are healthier and of better quality, I must admit that some cheaper, less nutritious cookies do taste better. I’m committed to exploring this brand until I find the perfect match for my taste. These cookies aren’t bad by any means—don’t get me wrong—but given the price and quality, I anticipated a bit more. They do have a nice crunch, though.

I stumbled upon this product while browsing for food items on Amazon and decided to give it a try. Knowing Simple Mills as a reputable brand, I felt confident in my choice. I’m thrilled with these cookies! They are unique and delicious, made with wholesome ingredients. I’ll definitely be buying them again!

I decided to try these cookies after a vegan YouTuber praised them, but I was disappointed upon receiving them. The cookie part tasted like chocolate cardboard, and the filling was lackluster, leaving much to be desired. As someone who has been vegan since childhood and has enjoyed many cream-filled cookies, these really fell flat. When I dunked them in almond milk, they fell apart into a mushy mess, which was frustrating since I love dunking my cookies. I usually stick to Oreos, which are also vegan, but I thought I’d give these a shot and now I regret it. For six bucks, the quantity is minimal – think of getting half a sleeve of Oreos, and that’s being generous. I do not recommend these and won’t be buying them again.

I decided to repurchase and bought two items, but I was disappointed to find that both boxes were not only more expensive but also smaller in size!
Random Thoughts –
After several disappointing attempts at finding gluten-free snacks, I decided to give Simple Mills cookies a try, and I’m so glad I did! These cookies are fantastic!
They remind me of Oreos but surpass them in taste. The dark chocolate cookie has a rich flavor and a satisfying crunch, while the cream filling is delicious and creates a perfect balance.
I don’t typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to address some of the negative feedback I’ve seen about these cookies: Yes, they contain cashews, but they don’t taste like cashews. Those of us who are dairy-free understand that cashews and other ingredients provide a creamy texture, making them a healthier alternative to hydrogenated oils. The overall flavor and texture are delightful, but don’t expect a nutty taste.
Simple Mills uses a blend of gluten-free flours, including watermelon seeds and nuts, but that doesn’t mean the cookies will taste like nuts. If you want a cashew flavor, eat a cashew! If you’re looking for tasty gluten-free cookies, these are the ones to try.
Are these cookies on the pricier side? Yes, especially compared to conventional cookies loaded with gluten, dairy, soy, and other allergens I avoid. Prices on Amazon can fluctuate, and the package sizes are smaller than non-gluten-free options. The ingredients are also costlier than those of mainstream brands, which is understandable. I keep an eye on the prices and avoid purchasing when they’re temporarily high. However, gluten-free cookies often come with a higher price tag.
In conclusion, these cookies are a fantastic option for anyone needing to steer clear of gluten, dairy, and soy without compromising on flavor. I’ve also enjoyed their chocolate chip, chocolate thins, and pecan cookies, but these are definitely my favorite. Yum!

After reviewing numerous products, our adult family unanimously agreed to rename this one: “Cocoa Cashew – Only in Your Dreams.” This is truly unpleasant. Avoid it at all costs. Here are a few reasons why:
1) Neither the cookie nor cream parts have any noticeable cocoa or cashew flavors. We tried several cookies from both boxes, cleansing our palates in between, but the result was the same. Both the cookies and cream tasted overcooked and, while not visibly discolored, had a flavor reminiscent of severely over-roasted nuts—like burnt toast. Each box emitted a burnt smell upon opening.
2) The consistency of both the cream and cookies was off. We didn’t expect them to be soft, but some were overly fragile while others were just too hard.
In short, my family loves all kinds of nuts, especially cashews, and we’re self-proclaimed chocoholics. While the creators of this product aren’t committing a crime, it’s a real shame to waste these ingredients. It’s simply not worth your time or money.

Honestly, I’m amazed at how they pack such a delicious peanut butter flavor into these small cookies, striking just the right balance of sweetness for someone with a serious sweet tooth like me. The ingredients are simple, and they’re relatively low in calories if you stick to the serving size. They’re about the same size as an Oreo—maybe not as much cream, but they’re full of flavor. The cookie has a bit of a crispy texture, which pairs perfectly with plant milk. The coconut sugar adds a rich, roasted peanut butter taste, which I really enjoy. I was looking for a healthier option with smaller portions than my usual snacks, and these fit the bill. I haven’t tried the other cookie flavors yet, but I hope the price stays reasonable. My only issue is that now I find myself wanting to eat more than I should. Let’s be honest—I’ll probably end up subscribing.
