It works, but not without some effort. I checked the reviews before buying and saw someone with a similar issue: the blender stops immediately after starting, the light turns red, and the blade doesn’t spin, seemingly stuck on frozen fruit. Clearly, it lacks power. I followed the recommended order for ingredients, too.
That being said, it can still make a smoothie, but expect it to take longer than 5 minutes—more like 10. I made a strawberry banana smoothie tonight and found that if I shake the blender side to side while it’s running, it doesn’t stop as often. However, if I leave it on the counter, it barely blends anything at all.
I might try using only non-frozen ingredients, like raw but cold fruits, but I assume that would just create more of a puree. I’m not a fan of adding ice to my smoothies since I prefer using frozen fruit.
I’ve never encountered this kind of problem with a blender before. It’s oddly helping me manage my frustration, almost like exposure therapy (haha). I’m not angry, just disappointed. I did my research and knew the risks, but I wanted to give it a shot. It might be handy for travel, like in a hotel, but since it’s glass, I wouldn’t want to toss it in my bag.
Now I’m tempted to give it 2 stars since I believe any portable blender shouldn’t be glass. Still, it’s a cute little gadget that can get the job done. I’ll settle for 3 stars. Just a heads up—this little blender could easily become frustrating if you’re expecting professional-grade performance. If you want something quick and easy, this isn’t the one for you.

I purchased this portable NutriBullet for making healthy meals while at the hospital, as it fits conveniently in my locker. I already own the standard-sized NutriBullet, which has been excellent and durable, so I decided to try the portable model. I tested it out at home before bringing it to work and was glad I did, as it didn’t blend fresh fruit as well as I had anticipated. I chopped four small strawberries into tiny pieces, but it still left some chunks and struggled with a single ice cube.
On the positive side, it performs well with liquids and protein powders. I usually mix almond milk or reduced-fat milk with “Just Ingredients” protein powder and Fit PB powder. Overall, it’s still a worthwhile purchase. It will be very convenient for making healthy shakes at work and is easy to use in the break room. I also appreciate that it’s quieter than I expected and simple to clean. It’s definitely a valuable addition to my daily routine!

It doesn’t have much power; you need to blend it two to three times for a smooth shake.

I absolutely love this compact blender! It’s so portable, making it easy to take anywhere. I use it for all kinds of soups. It’s lightweight, features a convenient travel handle, and the battery lasts a few days; I just keep it plugged in overnight. Just a heads up, be cautious when washing it since the blade is sharp. I just whipped up some delicious mushroom soup!

Simple to operate and easy to clean.

It takes a bit of time for the blending to begin, as the fruits and vegetables need to soften first. However, once it gets going, it blends quite well.

Does not meet the brand’s quality! Honestly, I didn’t like it!

I had high expectations for this blender. We use our NutriBullet for daily smoothies at home, and I’ve been on the hunt for a good portable option for my travels. Unfortunately, the smaller ones I’ve tried were underwhelming in speed, so I thought this larger, well-known brand would be perfect.
Initially, it looked impressive right out of the box. The build quality felt solid, and it had a sleek design. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. After giving it a full charge, I was eager to test it with a simple banana smoothie recipe:
I made sure to keep everything below the “Max” line on the cup. The blue light came on when I powered it up, indicating it was ready to go.
However, when I started blending, it only ran for about two seconds, chopping a bit before stopping and flashing red. I assumed it was just stuck on the banana, which was disappointing, but I hoped to resolve it. After shaking it and checking for any obstructions around the blade, I tried again with no success. I emptied it, rinsed out the debris, added water, but it continued to flash red. Even after letting it sit for a couple of hours, the red light persisted.
I took it apart and adjusted the alignment of the mark on the bottom. After carefully aligning it, it finally turned blue and ran, but I haven’t had a chance to test it under load again because I’m heading out of town. I don’t feel confident taking this blender with me, so I’m leaving it behind for this trip. I plan to revisit it when I return, and if the issues are resolved, I’ll update my review. For now, I have to consider it pretty much useless.

It didn’t work; I used it once and now it won’t turn on. I couldn’t return it because I had just started using it, but it’s really disappointing.
