I had high expectations for this blender. We use our traditional NutriBullet for daily smoothies at home, and since I travel frequently, I was looking for a reliable portable blender. I had tried smaller, slower models in the past, so I thought this larger, well-known brand would be perfect.
Initially, it looked impressive right out of the box—solid construction and a sleek design. The instructions were clear and comprehensive. After charging it up, I decided to test it with a straightforward banana smoothie recipe:
I made sure to keep everything below the “Max” line on the cup. When I powered it on, the blue light signaled it was ready. However, as soon as I started blending, it ran for just two seconds, chopped the ingredients slightly, and then stopped with the red light flashing. I assumed it might be stuck on the banana, which was disappointing, but I thought I could resolve it.
I turned it upside down and shook it, but the blade was clear. I tried blending again multiple times without success. After rinsing out the debris and adding water, it still only flashed red. Even after letting it sit for a couple of hours, the issue persisted.
I disassembled it and adjusted the alignment of the bottom mark. After carefully realigning and trying again, it finally turned blue and ran. However, I haven’t had the chance to test it under load again since I’m heading out of town. Feeling uneasy about its reliability, I’m leaving it behind for this trip. I’ll revisit it when I return, and if the problem resolves, I’ll update my review. For now, I have to consider it essentially unusable.

The item arrived broken.

I absolutely adore this compact blender! It’s so portable, making it perfect for whipping up all kinds of soups. It’s lightweight and features an excellent travel handle. The battery lasts me several days, but I keep it plugged in overnight, so it’s never a problem. Just a heads up, the blade is quite sharp, so be cautious when cleaning it. I just made some delicious mushroom soup with it!

It takes a bit of time to get going, as the fruits and veggies need to soften before the blender can do its job, but once it starts, it blends very well.

I purchased this portable NutriBullet for quick and healthy meals while working at the hospital, as it conveniently fits in my locker. I already own the regular-sized NutriBullet, which has been excellent and durable, so I decided to try the portable version. I tested it at home first, and I’m glad I did because it didn’t blend fresh fruit as well as I expected. I chopped four small strawberries into tiny pieces, but it still left chunks and had difficulty with a single ice cube.
On the plus side, it performs well with liquids and protein powders. I usually mix almond milk or reduced-fat milk with “Just Ingredients” protein powder and Fit PB powder. Overall, I think it’s still a worthwhile purchase. It will be super convenient for making healthy shakes at work and is easy to use in the break room. I also appreciate how much quieter it is than I anticipated and how simple it is to clean. It’s definitely a useful addition to my daily routine!

It didn’t work; I used it once and now it won’t turn on. I couldn’t return it because I just started using it, but unfortunately, it didn’t function as expected. What a disappointment.

It works, but not without some frustration. I read the reviews before buying and noticed that others experienced the same issue I’m facing: the blender starts, then quickly stops with a red light, and the blade won’t spin (it seems to get stuck on frozen fruit). Clearly, it lacks power. I followed the suggested ingredient order from the instructions, but that didn’t help.
That said, it can still make a smoothie, but it takes longer than expected—more like 10 minutes instead of 5. I had a strawberry banana smoothie tonight and found that if I shake the blender side to side while it runs, it doesn’t stop as often. Leaving it stationary barely blends anything at all.
I might try using only non-frozen ingredients, like raw but chilled fruits, but I assume that would result in more of a puree, and I’m not a fan of ice in my smoothies. I’ve never encountered this kind of issue with a blender before. Honestly, it’s somewhat therapeutic for my anger issues—like a form of exposure therapy (haha). I’m not angry, just disappointed. I knew the risks from the reviews, but I wanted to give it a shot. It could be useful for travel, like in a hotel, though being glass makes it less convenient to carry.
Now I’m tempted to lower my rating to 2 stars. I believe any portable blender should be made of plastic. Still, it’s a cute little gadget that can get the job done, so I’ll settle for 3 stars. Just be aware that this little blender could easily become your nemesis if you’re expecting it to perform like a professional model. If you’re looking for something quick and easy, this isn’t the one for you.

It doesn’t have much power; you need to blend it two to three times to achieve a smoothie.
